Description
These 18.5X8.50-8 tires have the Loadstar K399 which is a tread pattern that has a radial appearance, but a bias tires durability. The flatter tread profile allows for increased stability and the advanced rubber compound used by Kenda gives longer tread wear and low rolling resistance.
This tire is DOT approved for highway speeds and use on US Highways.
This 6-ply tire has a load rating of 935 lbs. when fully inflated to its max PSI of 50. It is recommended to run trailer tires at their max PSI as that is what they are tested at for ratings and running them lower could cause tread wear issues or even a possible blow out.

A great upgrade.
I upgraded from a skinnier set of tires. So far they handle a lot better and feel more secure. Only have 10 miles on them so I don't know about tread life.

Good dealer to buy from
Product was well described and was exactly as described. The tracking could be better but shipping was good and fair priced. Packaging not an issue on tires (hard to damage) but the enclosed note on helpful inflation tip might be useful to a novice installer. I am a repeat customer and will continue using RecStuff.

Better than standard golf cart tires
Philadelphia Zoo has over 30 golf carts. We switched to these DOT rated tires because they last longer, are less expensive and have a better load rating. Very satisfied with recstuff.com service and will continue to purchase from them.
