Note: 8" wheels and 10" wheels must use balancing beads.

Simply add a Balance to your cart for each Tire and Wheel assembly in your cart that you would like us to balance. Your Tires and Wheels will be assembled, balanced, checked for perfect balance,and then shipped directly to your door, ready to install.

When a Trailer Tire and Wheel rotates on a trailer, asymmetries of mass may cause it to hop or wobble. This condition is exaggerated when trailers are towed unloaded. This ride disturbance is generally more noticeable the faster the vehicle is moving. Balancing your Trailer tires will help with wobble, bounce and many other ride inconsistencies you may be experiencing.

We use steel wheel weights to conform with lead regulations which vary in all 50 states. Steel wheels are balanced with clamp on weights. All aluminum assemblies will be static balanced using stick-on wheel weights to ensure no corrosion occurs on your Aluminum Trailer Wheel.

We offer Counteract wheel balancing beads as well. The beads disperse themselves where they are needed in the tire to locate out of balance positions. Counteract Balancing Beads are the economical way to balance the vehicle wheel assembly for the lifetime of the tire. Made of coated glass spheres, the balancing beads will not cause damage to the inner liner of the tire, they won’t clump, regardless of excess moisture and are TPMS compatible.

    How can you tell if your trailer wheels and tires are properly balanced? I'm not sure. They arrived from RecStuff with new weights on, so I just have to believe they were done right.

    I was not going to purchase the balancing until I read other reviews. So thankful I did. My boat trailer pulls so smoothly that, if I didn't know better, I would swear it wasn't behind me. This was a smart investment to insure a smooth ride and prolong my tire life.

    Rims and tires arrived timely, well packaged and in perfect condition, mounted, balanced and ready to go on the trailer. I was happy and will plan to do trailer tires this way again.
