Description

These 4.80x8 tires have the Loadstar K371 which is a tread pattern that has a radial appearance, but a bias tires durability. The flatter tread profile allows for increased stability and the advanced rubber compound used by Kenda gives longer tread wear and low rolling resistance.

This tire is DOT approved for highway speeds and use on US Highways.

This 4-ply tire has a load rating of 590 lbs. when fully inflated to its max PSI of 60. It is recommended to run trailer tires at their max PSI as that is what they are tested at for ratings and running them lower could cause tread wear issues or even a possible blow out.

Warranty Information

All Kenda/Loadstar tires come with a manufacturer warranty for five (5) years from the date of tire manufacture. This date is determined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and can be found on the tire sidewall. This warranty covers defects due to defective materials and workmanship. inexpensive great looking tire

I bought this trailer tire for my wheelbarrow. The standard wheelbarrow tires were dry rotting quicky (within a year) as the wheelbarrow sits outside all the time. Also, they were not uniform so they had flat spots or bulges and didn't roll smoothly. This trailer tire is much more heavy duty, it is nice and round, and I think it is going to work much better for this application than regular wheelbarrow tires. This tire looks nice even as a trailer tire too. So the next time I am in need of a tire for one of my trailers I will probably try one of these. By the way, this is the second time I have ordered from Recstuff.com. They always seem to get the order shipped right away so I receive my stuff quickly.
