We tested our regular and bulge style acorn lug nuts against four competitors in a CASS (copper-accelerated acetic acid-salt spray) chamber. This test was developed by the American Electroplaters Society to measure the specific corrosion resistance of nickel-chromium platings. It involves subjecting plated parts to a salt solution at a specific temperature, pressure and length of time to emulate exposure to the elements.

Accelerated tests like this are employed by car manufacturers to measure quality and performance. A 22 hr. CASS cycle is considered to be equivalent to one year of exposure in Detroit weather conditions. Before each 22 hour CASS cycle the lug nuts were installed and removed using a lug wrench to simulate normal use.

Limited Lifetime Warranty - If these lug nuts fail in any way, we will replace them. The warranty would not apply if the lug nuts were used in extreme conditions for a prolonged period of time or against the use of an impact wrench.

    Lug nuts look very good. Seem to be of good quality. I can't comment on how long they will last, only have had them for 5 days. I guess only time will tell.....

    The lug nuts are solid and look it be in good shape. The chrome is bright and evenly plated. Haven't had them on long enough to see if the rust though.

    Nice Chrome Lug Nuts

    Just installed these with new rim/tire and fit just as described. Really like the way they are machined that keeps the socket off the Rim!! This keeps the rims scratch free. Finish is fine smooth chrome and only time will tell from a rust standpoint but don't see that being an issue.

    I just got these installed and they look very nice and seem to be well made. These replace lug nuts that were covered with a cheap piece of metal and I was having problems getting the socket on over them. These are solid metal and work very well. The lug nuts that I took off used a 3/4" socket and these use a 13/16" socket, no problem, just be aware of this.

    As lug nuts go, these work as required. The finish is nice and the threads are cut well with no play. They fit my wheels at the correct angle and the sizing for 6 point sockets is tight as it should be
