Description

These 4.80x8 tires have the Loadstar K371 which is a tread pattern that has a radial appearance, but a bias tires durability. The flatter tread profile allows for increased stability and the advanced rubber compound used by Kenda gives longer tread wear and low rolling resistance.

This tire is DOT approved for highway speeds and use on US Highways.

This 4-ply tire has a load rating of 590 lbs. when fully inflated to its max PSI of 60. It is recommended to run trailer tires at their max PSI as that is what they are tested at for ratings and running them lower could cause tread wear issues or even a possible blow out.

Warranty Information

All Kenda/Loadstar tires come with a manufacturer warranty for five (5) years from the date of tire manufacture. This date is determined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and can be found on the tire sidewall. This warranty covers defects due to defective materials and workmanship. Ordered a pair of 4.8x8 tires for boat trailer. Did the project myself. Easy to get bead seated and tires aired. Good tread and tires look great. Tires shipped incredibly fast and the order process was seamless. Great company, great product.

A real tire for real work

Finally a great tire for my cart. I have DESTROYED the OEM tires from Sears on more occasions than I care to admit. The cart is rated for over 350 pounds capacity but the original tires crap out at about 200 pounds. Doesn’t really allow you too much work... until now. These new tires are heavy duty and built to last. They have topped out over 350 pounds and never broke a sweat. I am a happy guy!! Thanks for making a great tire reasonably priced.

Great quality/price

This was an exact replacement tire for my sons log splitter. Tire appears to be of great quality and went on easily by hand with a couple of tire irons I still had from my old motocross racing days. The shipping was fairly quick and total price including shipping is very reasonable. The only issue I had with this purchase was the tire was squished pretty flat in the box...this made it very difficult to to get it to expand outward and seat properly against the rim bead. My compressor isn’t strong enough to burst air in and expand the tire. Luckily my son has had experience with this situation and took over...a quick spray of starter fluid around the bead and igniting from a lighter and that sucker expanded and seated snugly against the rim bead! This works perfectly but it is a bit dangerous so if you need to do this I would recommend find someone with experience to do it or check out YouTube videos of this before attempting yourself unless you like a torched arm! Great tire!
