The HiSpec Series 04 is often called the 5 star wheel, in deference to the 5 spokes being shaped like a star.  These trailer wheels can be used with any type of trailer, including flatbed, utility, snowmobile, boat, travel, horse, and goose-neck.  Aluminum wheels provide superior resistance to rust, are lighter weight than steel, and are a solid piece of metal which provide a smoother ride. Lighter wheel weight provides fuel efficiency.

 

 The 424440 is compatible with 4.80x12, 5.30x12 and ST145R12 tire sizes. 

 

The manufacturer part number seen is a breakdown of the wheel size. 424440 is the manufacturers part number. The 4 in the beginning is the name of the style of wheel, 24440 means it's a 12 (OD) x 4 (Width) 4-lug on 4" (Bolt Pattern). HiSpec Wheels offer a one year cosmetic warranty and lifetime warranty against manufacturers defects and are clear coated on the face and back side of the wheel. HiSpec Wheels use the latest production technologies in order to meet or exceed quality standards.

Warranty Information

Your new HWT aluminum wheels have a lifetime structural warranty. The clear coat finish is warranted for a period of one year from the date of the first sale of the vehicle equipped with HWT aluminum wheels. This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship when the product is installed on those vehicles for which it is designed. Not covered under this warranty are removal and installation costs, shipping costs on any returned item, damage caused by improper installation, vehicle accidents or consequential damages including, but not limited to, expense for loss of the use of the vehicle, rental or delivery vehicles and other types of commercially used vehicles. Should the product covered under this warranty fail for any reason, it should be returned prepaid to HiSpec® Wheel & Tire, Inc. by the original purchaser with a letter explaining the nature of the problem. Upon verification, HiSpec® Wheel & Tire, Inc. will repair or replace the defective part at our discretion and at no charge to the original purchaser.     These rims made the trailer project pop with visual greatness. Finished project will be an amazing micro-sport type trailer purpose built for a canoe and roftop carrier to travel with is without the accesorries taking up the back of our suvs.

    I ordinarily wouldn't buy aluminum wheels for a trailer, but upon seeing these available as a package for only a little more than for steel wheels and tires, I splurged a little. Upon receiving the wheels, I was stunned by how much they dressed up my humble camper. I am now considering buying a completely unneeded spare to place on the back. Maybe its a good thing that the manufacturer doesn't make the same style wheels to fit my utility and flat-bed trailers; the bright shine that looks so good on a 12" might be too much on a larger wheel...or maybe not. These wheels have a simple, elegant style that might look good on on anything.
